Marine & Coastal Environmental Consultancy
We offer robust, science-based services for marine, lagoon, and coastal ecosystems, tailored to EIA and EMR, ecosystem restoration, and resilience-building projects.

Designed and provided eight coral nurseries to the Mauritius Oceanography Institute (2022).
Undertook biodiversity surveys and VMCA monitoring surveys at St Felix and Le Morne (2023).
Undertook VMCA feasibility baseline surveys at four sites in in Le Morne (2023).
Successfully led coral restoration trials at St Felix for the NGO Coral Garden Conservation (2024).
Successfully led trials for artificial octopus dens in St Felix, La Prairie and Baie du Cap (2024).
Undertook habitat mapping and biodiversity survey of the whole lagoon of Bel Ombre (2024).
Led COTS population assessment surveys in SEMPA and proposed guidelines for COTS population control in Rodrigues as consultancy services to the RRA (2024).
Led benthic surveys coral restoration in Le Morne and La Prairie (2025).
Led cological surveys in La Gaulette and designed a management plan for Crystal Rock (2025).
Trained ten rangers from Mitsamiouli MPA in Comoros in coral restoration techniques (2024-2025).
Leds bi-annual EMR surveys at two sites within Bel Ombre (2022 - present).
Scientific Auditing & Monitoring
We independently monitor project progress and impact based on Logical Framework Matrices (Log-Frames), indicators, and real-world field validation — ensuring that funders, implementers, project activities and communities stay on track.

Provided quarterly audit for the CoralCommUNITY project to assess restoration impact and community integration progress and ensured that the project activities were on track and project indicators and targets were met (2024).
Provided monthly assistance for the Liane Batatran Project to assess beach restoration impact throgh scientific monitoring and field data collection, ensuring project progress and success (2024).
Undertook scientific surveys including lagoon mapping, beach profiling and coastal & terrestrial data collection on a timely basis to monitor project indicators and ensure that project deliverables are met within set timelines (2022-present).
Grants Advisory & Proposal Development

Developed and secured funding for the NGO Coral Garden Conservation from the UNDP Ocean Innovation Challenge for the "Community-based green-solutions to combat coastal erosion and protect sandy beaches" project and the "Enhancing Coastal Community Livelihoods Through Sustainable Octopus Fishery Management" project (2024).
Developed and secured the CoralCommUNITY grant from the MOL Trust and the AquaVR funding for immersive marine education for the NGO Coral Garden Conservation (2024–2025).
Developed and secured funding for the NGO Coral Garden Conservation from the AFD VARUNA initiative for the "Marine Guardianship through Technology: ROV-Based COTS Surveillance Program in Mauritius" project and the "Integrated COTS control and monitoring in St Felix VMCA" project (2024-2025).
